Denver Area Kilt Night

It's time to start thinking about the next Denver Kilt Night. Our regularly scheduled meeting is coming up in 2 weeks on Saturday, July 14th. Are we going to the Celtic Tavern in LoDo or the Celtic Crossing in Castle Pines?

Although I enjoyed the atmosphere of Celtic Tavern, I'd be up for trying somewhere new (to me anyway)

I'll just defer my vote to go along with the majority.

The wife and I are thinking of driving up from AZ if you keep the date on the 14th of July. Will monitor the posts!!

I'm up for just about anywhere. I don't have a job anymore (long story-may tell it in off topic if I can calm down enough to do it without cussing like Lenny Bruce), so there's little danger I'll be working. I may only be ordering a (soft) drink instead of supper, but I'm definitely up for a night out after my experience of working for crooks. Anywhere. If it's in Castle Rock, though, I'll need to see about getting a ride with someone. An RTD 10-ride ticket book just won't quite get me from Aurora to Castle Rock...

Well, that settles that. We will have to keep it on the 14th (since we decided to meet the second Saturday of the month)

Charles, I'd offer to pick you up but that would defeat the shortened drive from the Springs. If everyone else is up for it we can try that place over by the Capital. Can't remember the name but it has the red British phone booth out front.

Marc, We can always meet up again for the drive.

You are talking about Pint's Pub on West 13th Ave between Bannock and Cherokee Streets. Close to the art museum in the golden triangle area.

I will be at a wedding that afternoon in Conifer, so I may not be able to make it on time.

Just a quick reminder about Saturday's Denver Kilt night. Let's keep it at the Celtic Tavern this month. Maybe disucss another location for August.

I would agree, let's keep it at the Celtic Tavern this month, and decide there where we want to meet in August. So, 7/14 @ 6:30? What do the rest of y'all think?
