Angus, There may be a picture of me wearing one in the Bay Area Kilt nite section for April or May. I have eight or nine stks so I am somewhat biased. To me it is a great kilt for the money. Jerry himself will tell you it will not compare to a hand sewn 500 dollar kilt. I do not own one so I can only vouch for the guality that I have received from Stillwater. That as always been great. The boxpleat only available in he Leatherneck tartanat this time is pleated to the stripe. I have had it since the first became available. It seems to wear well. It is one of the few kilts that I wear because I have lost over 50 pounds. It is not a 16 oz kilt more like 12 oz. A lot of people have commented on its looks. They all love it!. One small detractor is that the inner apron seems to droop at times. That is the only drawback that I can find. Worth the money. You will not be disappointed. Lots and lots of basting stitches. Take your time to remove them.

Well I got both the Box peated leatherneck and the Weathered Lamont both in the Heavyweight wool. They arrived very fast....

These two kilts are to me a perfect go between the PV from USAK and my 16oz Tanks. I have worn both out in the High desert heat ( over 106 degrees ) one day and they felt fine not too hot at all .

I will post pics in the pictures forum.

I highly recommend the SWK Heavyweights for a good go between your casuals and your Tanks.
