I've had my fair share (and then some) of strange looks... odd comments..and just plain fun reactions.. At a local Walmart, a kid with 10mm spacers in his ear lobes looked at me like I was a freak... hated to break the news to him, I can change clothes, his ears are going to be like that for life... then there was the kid that stopped dead in his tracks, in the middle of a parking lot as I walked into a grocery store. He was still standing there with his jaw dropped long after I was inside...
The there was a time when walking with my wife into the local target, we had almost made it to the door and I hear from a car passing by "Woo baby, nice legs" that came from the 3 girls in the back seat.. the driver was male and extremely red faced.

My favorite was the look on the lady that kilted checked me... she claimed to be looking at how the front of the kilt was assembled... she got more than she bargained for
