That's a great pic. I went to the MCC show last night, and it was quite a letdown. It lasted about 10 minutes. When i got home though around 9:20, I turned on the news and watched the Tempe Town lake show. It looked like a pretty good show plus it lasted about 40 minutes. I kind of wish that i had gone down there instead, but i didn't want to fight traffic. How was the traffic getting out of there after the show?

excellent photos, I hope you had a good night. I never go down to the big fireworks shows here because of the traffic, and parking.

Twenty minutes or so walking from the Town Lake back to the car, then about another twenty minutes to get clear of the parking lot and get north of the 202 (Scottsdale Road was wide open once we got north of Curry.)

Not bad at all, all things considered - especially when you figure I was carrying about thirty pounds of assorted camera gear, lights, batteries, and water bottles.

Thank you. My wife didn't want to be in any of the shots, or I might have tried balancing the ambient with a flash. Would have been nice to get a good picture of her with the fireworks as a backdrop.
