You'd think he would have known better. I hope this doesn't spoil things for the rest of us.

It behooves us to be appropriate in deportment. In public, the kilt purports or exudes about us dignity, flair, maturity, boldness, rebellion, etc. Let me not bring through my improper behaviour cause for your being challenged.
Even though some folk may view the wearing of a kilt as outrageous, another may be the one to convert the outrage to proselytizing the furtherance of kilt wearing.

Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

It was a "reality" TV show, nobody watches those things anyway no need to git your dander up.

I googled the show. The press release referred to it a hypothetical training situation.

I stand by most people can tell the difference between a kilt and a mini, and that exposure is exposure.

If people believe that reality shows are "reality" and spontaneous, oh well.

I flew kilted okay just the other week.

More information in another post, but I flew Korean Air from Sydney to Seoul and then to JFK, New York kilted in my snow camo Neokilt without any issue. Even got a nice comment from one of the US Customs officers!

Oh, good, so it wasn't you.

I read your other post and the thought did cross my mind, especially when you mentioned looking under your seat. Last time I flew, there was barely enough room to sit, let alone explore.

Just in case: only kidding about seriously thinking that it was you.

    Slightly off-topic but still relevant...

I went through Boston airport on Friday with my daughter and I was singled out for secondary inspection BECAUSE OF MY KILT. The TSA people admittedly told me that, while they are trained in the inspection of kilt wearers, they have never actually had the opportunity to do so and I was available for their training purposes. The fact that I had 15 minutes left before the flight left was of course irrelevent to them.
There are 10 kinds of people in the world...
Those that understand binary, and those that don't.
