Update about 2nd edition, Art of Kiltmaking

Hi folks

I have just learned that my co-author is unwilling to entertain the additions that I've proposed for the 2nd edition of The Art of Kiltmaking, so the 2nd edition must remain essentially like the first. This is something that is not negotiable with her. I am just crossing my fingers that she will not prevent printing of a 2nd edition altogether.

I apologize to all those who have taken the time to give me feedback regarding additions to the book. I will make corrections to the existing text and update the supplier list, but that's about it.

Matt and I have already had discussions about co-producing a pdf on box pleated kilts that could be available as a downloadable file, probably from Matt's web site (there would likely be "issues" that would arise if I posted it to the Celtic Dragon Press web site).

I would request, please, that you do not ask me to provide details about this situation, and I also implore you to refrain in this forum from speculating about the situation or posting negative or outraged comments. Let's just focus on the positive, cross our fingers that there _will_ be a second edition, and look forward to having the box pleated kilt instructions out there eventually on Matt's site.
