    My Kilt collection as grown

(This is a bit late as I couldn't get to this forum when my new kilts arrived)

I'm now up to 5 kilts. (Not to many, but a start. )

I started out with 1 Utilikilt ( Khaki), and added a 2nd ( Postal Blue). Then I found out about StillwaterKilts. They offer a more traditional style of kilt. I ordered the Irish National tartan. Great fit! I have just received my Black Watch, and Nightstalker kilts from them, and the fit is great. The medium weight material is great for our hot climate. The price is quite reasonable. I placed my order on Sunday, 29 April, and received it on Wednesday, 2 May. Customer service is great!

    You might try them.... www.stillwaterkilts.com

It isn't a matter of numbers, but whether YOU like them and YOU wear them.

I hope you enjoy your collection!

    Ah yes, the addiction begins.
I originally bought two Kilts, "Just to try it". I now have 11, and three more on the way.........However, I confess to no remorse whatsoever, and am having a wonderful time. I even bought 5 yds of Tartan in case I ever find a kiltmaker not too expensive.
I also confess that Kilt pins is just an excuse for me to wear a Brooch. Got great ones at a Swap Meet in Pasadena Rose Bowl. $3 -$5 . A jewelled lizard, Celtic Crosses etc. Now, if I could just leave the house sometime- I don't want to miss the arrivial of my Kilts....do I?

Thanks for the tip on Stillwater Kilts. Try using it here as a search term.

They are WELL recommended for an inexpensive kilt.

To my surprise, I'm discovering that my Stillwater thrifty, the least expensive kilt I own, has become my favorite for general wear. It's light, it's cool enough for an Arizona summer, and yet the fabric is nice, soft, and looks good.
