Last place to expect to see a kilt

Mysticmead's wife has suggested getting a few...friends together and going someplace where kilts would be the last thing you'd expect to see... but having us all wear our kilts...I think it would be a fun way to start off a kilt night
I thought that could be the subject of a whole new thread. Where is the last place you would expect to see a kilt?

We can share our knowledge and show that it's already been done. Or, really go for it, and do it if hasn't been done.

playing the pipes to penguins in Antarctica -- done
 modern combat zone -- done
 White House -- done

That was my original list, I'm adding:

running the bulls at Pamplona --- done

not really somewhere you would want to go for a kilt night. But the last place I would expect a kilt would be in a prison, mainly cause they have a dress code, but even if not, I wouldn't expect it a prisoner to choose to wear a kilt if he could due to the reaction or possible actions from fellow prisoners.
On a more practical note, how about skating at an ice skating rink. I'm sure its been done, but it would be definitely different and not what people would expect. You guys might have to forgo going regimental or as least be careful.

I was just watching a program on the discovery channel about the Ice Hotel in Sweeden. During the course of the show, the showed a bride and groom getting married and he is in the full PC. And, get this, the temperature in the hotel is 20F and when he walks out side with his bride it is -17f! BRRRRRR.

Been there, done that. I didn't get quite that reaction though. All the ladies did seem to like it, and I must say it makes a lap dance very interesting.

It's a nice courtesy to remove any kilt pin though. You don't want to stick anyone with it.

does sliding down my driving way when it iced over count as wearing a kilt ice skating??
think what my wife was leaning towards, was getting the reaction from the local if a group of kilt wearing guys suddenly showed up..(I live in a very rural area) of course, I've already been to most of the places around here in my kilt... go out.. have fun, then go hit the pub in kilts..

now, I didn't climb everest in a kilt.. but I did climb stone mountain...that has to count for something...

now, one thing I haven't done in my kilt...and plan on changing that this year is... go deer hunting in my kilt.. just need to get a new UK in mossy oak fabric first
