    I found that in the Cairngorms, in Winter, kilted skiers were not unusual as there were a few more kilties about and apparently its a common sight.
    Yes, I've seen a kilted skier on the Cairngorms too.

    Back in 1979, long before I ever got into a kilt myself, I was part of a Town Twinning delegation which went to a trade fair in Holland to promote the products of our local businesses and several of the delegation wore kilts throughout, which made an unexpected sight out and about on the streets of Alphen-ad-Rijn where we were staying.
