    I think what ccga3359 was getting at was that if one were to FACE Scottish regiments, one would never see their backsides and therefore one would be unaware that a kilt had pleats....plus if the Germans in WW1 saw "the ladies from hell" they were probably too busy running the other way to notice the finer elements of a kilt

    Ozone got it, and I being English is one of the few times you'll hear me compliment the Scot's.
    My gloves are now back on...
