I rode three hours in the rain on my motorcycle, got to this event had a great time. Had to deal with Grant not getting kilt checked, Had a few laughs with the rabble ...Rode another three hours in the rain home... avoiding and creating sporran masks been up since 5:00am sewing and your excuse is a sick headache. and rather busy posting "Thank you for posting" with a macro..some peoples children.... We shall see what happens in Fergus... I'm told you won't be sleeping at all and the pipers at 3:30 am will do wonders for a headache.

McMurdo you were supposed to call in sick today, that was the plan! I needed last night, I didn't want to be the only pathetic kiltie there.

    Thursday sounds good.

THIS DOES NOT COUNT AS A KILT CHECK ROBERT!!!
I wasn't prepared to bribe her with a mini kilt...though I'm sure if I had, you would have had a proper kilt check..

To think the night was looking good from the start. Pulling into Improv1's yard I almost ran over one of his chickens. Although I not inclined thusly I figured that this would be the perfect way to hunt this sort of vermin* as squirrels have a tendancy to climb trees to escape. His llamas looked nervous though, but probably for entirely different reasons

*Speaking of vermin, I'm sure Dick will post pictures when he sobers up!

One has to assume that Improv1 is now consious but that Dunnville is so backwards that they still have to use the crank on the telephone. Dick is probably so weak wristed as he is still on dial-up!

So here is a picture to whet some appetites:

    From left to right;

Owner of the pub (the wife). Note I did not get her name or a kiltcheck but she did love my camo kilt...

The bartender who swiped the kilt hanging on the wall of the bar in honour of our kilt night. Sorry didn't get a name...

A Waitress again no name or kiltcheck notice work uniform, I did...

Mexpiper flaunting his Shadow Saffron SWK who joined us from Rochester NY and is actually fluent in greenbacks & rainbow currency (way to go Sam)...

RKilt's everso hoity-toity Robert (Canuck) in his kiltcheck stealing leather Rkilt. Please not that Robert is barely 10 years older than me but looks 25 years my senior (funnily enough this number matches how many more kiltchecks he's gotten over me since April...

The always so handsome Me (ccga3359) with freshly cropped hair. yet still no bloody kiltchecks aside from the half-hearted one that Robert payed a girl for. I'm wearing my Desert Camouflage FK as Dunnville is Redneck Ontario central, it did get notice and approval but no kiltchecks.
Scott the other owner of the pub and will probably be kilted very soon according to his wife...

Dunnville's hairless Improv1. Whom even with being accompanied by his lovely wife was getting kiltchecked left, right and center...
Lastly (in front of Dick) is SOKS answer to Dirka, Lisa (or is that Improv2)?

Absent from this picture was McMurdo and Wompet and for lame reason... Oh I have to work in the morning, blah, blah .

A good time was had by all, except for me! The SOKS come off at the next kilt night...

Great picture,,,, thanks again for the fun time. Maybe I can make the next one also. I did get lost a bit going back because the Bridge was up... So I turned around and than saw a blinking sign that said turn right when bridge is up. That was after waiting for a few minutes at the bridge for the bridge to come down. especially when i saw all the other cars way behind me turn right (LOL) .

I'm completely lost here but I guess that's OK as no one can follow Grant's rantings.

Looks like a good time anyway.

I didn't get kiltchecked again! Everyone else did, including McMurdo who wasn't even there.
    Understand now, Dee?

You had to be there...well maybe....the key is Grant is following the record of the Pennsylvania Quakers with the worlds most losses but only he's in the kilt check world.

Grant... McMurdo had a sick head ache and probably wasn't wearing a kilt for most of the weekend so I doubt he got kilt checked. so no worries there.
Uncle Ricky on the other hand did!!!! But don't go there (Oh and he's slightly older than you too!)
    feel better now?

You are right I did not get kilt checked, but I'm not crying about it either. I was however wearing my kilt as I do everyday, even with a headache the kilt is more comfortable.
