As it stands , all the photograph depicts , is four models in tartan skirts , with checkered blouses and short socks.

No offense, but if you look closely you can see the model on the far right is turned slightly towards us and you can see he has a flat, unpleated apron. And there is no seam to indicate that it closes on that side(Men's kilts close on the other side.) Therefore it would appear to be a men's kilt.
Now let's not turn this fun, amusing, long-lived post into a fight that gets the thread closed.
There is no need for anyone to insult anyone else or for anyone to start complaining that a company are showing a bunch of men in dresses.

I have seen many a pleated skirt that has a flat panel in the front .
My contention is that the Hilfiger advert depicts 4 men in tartan skirts .
And I agree with you , no need for a member to insult another member.
Hence my objection to the member Archangel insulting me .
