No, by the time my parents divorced and we moved up from Tucson, it was already a chain restaurant. But I do remember the ice rink! That area is now a movie theater, and the food court is all floored.

I remember reading not too long ago that they were remodeling Metrocenter, so I imagine it would look nothing like I remember.

I've never been to Phoenix, but those pictures bring back memories of El Paso. Every year, from the end of March through April is the "windy season" - sustained winds of 35-50 mph, with gusts up to 70-75, all day long. I really don't miss having to spend an eight hour shift outside in that.
