    Kickin It 80's Kilt Pins

2 New Kilt Pins I just purchased from on online retailer.
    #1.

(Shield, Swords, and Arrows make up the pin. Approx. 2.5" across)

    #2.

    (transformers logo, approx. 2" tall)

I'm going to remove the pin backs and epoxy rare earth magnets on the back for use as a kilt pin.

Pretty neat. But, wasn't Zelda early '90s? Way cool none-the-less.

I bought the original Zelda game for my NES in 1987 when it was released in the US. Released in Japan by a different name in 1986.

My hunt for a large enough Transformers pin that could be used as a kilt pin intensified after seeing the movie on July 4th.

Transformers is in again (giant robots that turn into things, can't keep that down long!), but that pin and packaging are kickin' it old school.

What kind of epoxy are you planning on using? I usually use a 2 or 1.5 ton epoxy, but it seems you wouldn't need something that heavy duty for this.
