You and I have had a lot of the same questions, so I've been reading your thread a lot. I'm looking forward to seeing the final kilt too. Post the pictures already.

    Good evening lads!

I cannot find the link to the x-kilt.

Does anyone have the link or document?

For those of you who have made one... How long did they take you?

    Thanks!!!!

I apologize for the delay in posting the pictures, but I made my xkilt out of navy twill, and we haven't had much sun here lately (just lots and lots of fog) so each time I take a picture you can't see much detail.
So, I'll keep at it and get something posted as soon as I get a picture where you can actually SEE the pleats.

Kiltboi, it takes me about 13 hours, going slowly and carefully and following my own instructions step-by-step, to make an X-Kilt without pockets. Add another 2 hours for the pockets, 'cause they're fairly complex, with little expand-o box pleats in them to echo the box pleats of the kilt..

I'm pretty good with a sewing machine, though not a total whiz. If you were new to sewing and sewing machines, and you spent a lot of time reading the directions and stuff, it might take you as much as 18 hours. If you're really fast, call it ten hours.
