Archangel, I think McMurdo was saying that he had the same situation as you with your carload of Italian guys.

Recently had my first few outings on errands while wearing a kilt, so far no notice or positive reactions only.

The Korean fellow at the lawnmower shop greeted me with raised hands and smiling while saying "Hello Scottish Man".

Actually, it would be Keith B.'s story. Let me make clear that I don't think for a minute that McMurdo would such a thing, far from it. I just don't understand what he did say.
