Glad your first day out was a good one! Too bad about the carload of uninformed men, but it happens.
This is a great puzzle to me, the speculation on sexual orientation. Personally, I don't want to know what anybody else (excepting the Mrs.) kilted or not, does when they "get their freak on".
Why anybody would speculate on such matters regarding myself is beyond my ability to comprehend. Those pre-disposed towards wasting their brain power in such a fashion are way below my radar, unless it comes down to personal safety.
If somebody wants to think I am gay I hope it makes their life richer. If they want to tell me they think I am gay, I will probably just tell them I don't think they have that kind of cash on them and wish them better luck in their pursuit.
We are doing the right thing here. In my second month of kilting ( I think) the unwashed 'round here are already starting to take no notice of me. More men in kilts, less negative reactions.
The positive reactions far outweigh the negatives. The difference for my battle scarred right leg is huge. It makes me feel good about myself, and I'll bet it does for the rest of us.
Damn the gaydar, full speed ahead. If some poor uninformed soul thinking or stating that I am a homosexual is the worst thing that happens to me, that is a pretty darn good day. My wife will still make dinner when I get home, unless I get home first. Either way, supper will be served. World safe. All is well.
Great first outing I say. Like the rabble told me after my first "outing", it only gets better. Kilt on.
P.S. And Keith, why would those fellows call you a FLAG? (ryhmes with hag.. f....g) a USAK looks nothing like a Flag! better report that license plate to MV so they can get that driver an eye test pronto. McMurdo, you look totally masculine in your outfits. better get some help for that lady in the burka. Perhaps her veil is obscuring her vision. Could be a safety issue.
