The William Wallace one was pretty good too, but they should have hidden the SportKilt logo since it's a Utilikilt mock-u-mercial

That's only reason I didn't like it.

It's probably because I work in video production... but I have a really hard time saying a piece is good if the audio is terrible... It may be a good concept, but bad audio ruins a piece for me...
I did like the concept of that one though, even if the history is ludicrously off...

I'm sure they based their William Wallace on the very well researched and historically accurate "Braveheart"
At least they didn't say they were at Sterling when they were walking down the hall. Though, like in the movie, there was no bridge.
The audio was pretty bad.
What kind of video prod do you do? I used to work in TV years ago.

I have a hard time with Braveheart... it's completely historically inaccurate, but darned if it isn't a great guy movie... oh well.
I used to do small corporate video (read annual meeting boring stuff) on my own and also freelanced on national commercial and some TV stuff doing mostly art department work of various kinds. I am now on staff at good sized church in the Dallas area, where I produce/shoot/edit video for all of our campuses.

One of my professors told me that, almost without fail, you had a choice between a good movie, and good history, when you went to see a "history movie."
I'll take a good movie; for good history, I'll take a good book!

I was reading the rules and it says that you have already won a free special edition kilt just for being accepted as a finalist so congrats on that! My favorite was the "Rock Your Freedom" one. "Fire" was good too but a bit long.

Cool. After I left TV I did training and product informational videos for a company that distributed sports memorabilia, ie baseball cards and collectibles.
Now I just run the sound system at church on occasion.
