I like to think that if for some reason I was forced to go to such a horrible event that I'd at least be able to wear my kilt... fully expecting to be the only one there in one.

I have worn my kilt to German Festivals and Polka Concerts (Brave Combo). Monday night I gave blood at church in my kilt. The nurse even put a sheet over my knees. Wearing my kilt to German festival in Timonium this weekiend. I'll wear it any where
Why not in orbit at International Space Station ?
That could be fun to see a kilt in wightlessness.
Some astronauts have scottish names and one of them should ask NASA if they can carry
it at the Station

Now, as for places you wouldn't see a kilt (at least usually), I'd love for a bunch of us Dallas Kilties go invade a Country/Western bar.
There's nowhere I can think of that would be shocking for a bunch of the rabble to show up, just maybe unexpected... and I can't think of anything that hasn't been done before.
