I seem to remember reading somewhere, a while back, that the scaffolding is to be replaced soon with specially designed, demountable units which can be errected and dismantled in less than a week each time. I am not sure, actually, which is worse: the scaffolding or the masses of tourists' coaches which park on the Esplanade when the scaffolding is not in place!
Well I don't think that coaches would have the same effect on the view Hamish!
