Those look GREAT! I really want a stag head. I've no Gordon connections. But, it's a good symbol for general Scottishness too. Sure wish we were on the same continent! I need a good regular artist to finish up a several things...

Those look great, you certainly are lucky your wife can tattoo. My GF is an excellent artist and a tattoo addict so I got her a starter kit but she refuses to do anything without professional training so I still have to pay for mine

That's some nice ink ya got going on there.
I like the top picture better myself... just because as a general rule, you would generally have to have an interest in it in order to understand it... sort of a conversation starter... and a way to meet other Gordons.

You have a VERY wise girlfriend. Be very careful with assortments called "starter kits." If she's also a tattoo addict, does she have a regular artist? After a while the artist and client tend to become friends in many cases. This could lead to training the right way. Good old fashioned apprenticeship.

Yeah, they are good friends and he has agreed to let her apprentice. Now to come up with the $5K . I do agree about the starter kit too but the starter kits are good to learn technique and to get used to a vibrating "pen" before working on actual people with a quality machine.

Raptor: The more I look at those tats, the more I like them. She does really good work.

We are both tattoo artists so it makes it easy to get tattooed when it's quiet in the studio.
