Those pleat shots are breathtaking!! Hand sewn kilts may be expensive, but they're worth every penny from a craftsman/lady. Your grandkid's grandkids will wear that kilt and look back at the pics of great great grandfather Ranger when it was a new kilt.

Thanks Ron,
I have 7 other Tanks all handsewn and made in Scotland but This one by Barbara Tewksbury is far better made and just feels better than the others. The Kilt feels balanced and natural when I wear I will definitely be wearing it often and will order others from Barb T.!!! and Highly recommend her!!!

I love my Barb T. tank. Now I'll have to choose between saving for a hunting trip and saving for a US Army tartan tank from Barb. It looks great!

Nope - I actually don't advertise. I just do business by word-of-mouth. As many of you know, I have a full-time job as a geology professor, and I do kilts on the side. If I ever get to the point where I'm not getting enough kilt orders to keep me busy, I'll start advertising. But, right at the moment, I've got plenty! And I really like making kilts for people I "know", even if I know them only on this forum or through people I've made kilts for before.
Anyway, I'm delighted to get PMs from people on this forum who want to order kilts!

That is a beautiful kilt! Now I have something to save up for. Perhaps as a graduation present from my sweety. That would only be about a year and a half. Hmmmmm.

I may be just an ol' grunt like yourself (the old Hell On Wheels Division that was absorbed into 4th Infantry) but you've convinced me: I need to get that tartan.
I wish there was a "two thumbs up" smilie to add here but my compliments to Barb on the beautiful kilt, and Herman, you look great wearing it.
