Going away for a wee bit.
I don't like to bring up my personal problems much, but I'm currently off work on stress leave. There's alot going on in my life and it was affecting my job, so I elected to take some paid time off. Nothing too serious, but there will be a few major changes in my life coming within the next year. Good changes. No, my wife and I are not having a baby. LOL
I'll post more about this upon my return.
At any rate, part of my personal "stress relief" program is riding my Harley. So, Wednesday morning I'm heading off on a week-long solo trip out to Winnipeg Manitoba to visit my brothers. I doubt that I'll have any easy access to the 'net, so I probably won't be able to check in on this rowdy rabble. As I'm on the bike, I also won't be kilted for the duration of the trip. Every good thing has to have a bad side, I guess.
Play nice everyone, back in a bit.

Have a good trip on your Harley, Al, and I hope everything works out well for you.
I was thinking about you yesterday while I was making arrangements to travel on a classic bus to a vintage bus rally later this month - will post some photos of the buses on here for you to look at if all goes well.

Happy trails! What, pray tell, is "stress leave", or "paid time off"?

Al, even though you are a "professional driver" keep that bike rubber side down and ride safe.

Al, I think unplugging the net can be a healthy thing to do. Take care of yourself and we'll keep a light on for you.

Thanks, that would be great! I love old stuff, especially if it rolls or flies.

Thanks! Ah, one of the benefits of working for the City. We have short and long-term disability benefits. I'm on short term right now. We get 90% of our regular wage while off. I hope to be back to work shortly, though. Just have to get my head straightened out a bit first. More on this after I get back.
