New Kilt is Here!
Just picked up my new Stillwater kilt at the post office. Unfortunately, I'm at work, so I won't be able to try it on until this evening. Still, it looks great, and is softer than I expected, not having dealt with PV before. I'll post pics when I get them taken.

I discovered Stillwater a few months ago - and I am very impressed with their products, price, fast delivery and overall desire to serve us kilted types.
I think you will like your non-wool kilt from them!
There just isn't anybody who is giving as much value for the money as Stillwater!!!

Hmmm...
I'll wait till I get home to make a judgement, but just from wrapping it around my waist, it's looking like it might be too big. I had a 54 inch waist, and I ordered the 52. However, I've been doing a lot of walking in the evening, and it looks like I may have lost some size off my waist...

Stillwater Kilts are Acrylic, Not PV!
Just an FYI
I have a couple SW Kilts, and enjoy them!

I just pulled the trigger on a Mackenzie Weathered SWK standard. I am addicted to my SWKs'. This one will make eight. The acrylic is not the coolest fabric in humid heat, but the economy and thrifty are pretty decent.
What I love is being able to wear plaid and throw it in the washer, hang it out and good as new. I am working on a comprehensive review of the Stillwater Line from a newbie perspective. Wear one to work at least four days a week.
Look forward to having a USAK made soon, but I really love the SWK line. Jerry is pretty fast, although he makes me wait for days when he could just drive on down to Delaware in 30 hours and drop it off. Oh well, nobody's perfect.
I am sure you will like your SWK. Happy New Kilt!!
Try it on before you remove those basting stitches! Jerry will exchange it for a smaller one as long as it is in new condition with the basting stitches still in it.

I'll try it on when I get home, but it looks too big right now.
