Can someone talk to the admins of these forums and see about starting an official xmarks irc channel? I feel it's a good idea and may introduce others to irc who haven't used it before. I'd be willing to help with anything involved.

I was looking forward to chatting with MysticMead, but I live in an area known for power outages. But, I'll be back

Before this snowballs, this suggestion has been made and is under consideration. We tried a chat function on the forum some time back and that wasn't popular enough to continue, so I'm not too sure how well the idea of a remote IRC is going to go over. At any rate, the idea has been passed along to us, so be patient.

unfortunately the powers that be have decided against setting up an XMTS channel.. I can understand the reasoning behind it... however, if anyone is on freenode, stop by #MysticChat (irc chat about home brewing, BBQ and anything else you feel like talking about) and say hello

Ok, well, "the powers that be" have made a decision and I'll adhere to it. Thanks for trying anyway
