Hey all.
Received my Maple Leaf kilt from MacHummel in the mail on Friday.
Just in time for the Glengarry Highland Games weekend.
Thanks Pete - this is one beautiful kilt !!
The fit and finish is excellent. Love the fabric.
I've had more questions/comments about this tartan than any of the other 10 I wear.
And the Maple Leaf kilt pin is just right.
Thanks again.

Good to hear Lee. Man you've had the longest wait thus far! My hat's off to ya, and we will raise a pint in your honour at the Fergus games.

Congrats Dee, now I can finally have Pete build mine as you bribed him to make yours first over mine... Oh wait I already have mine!

Yeah, yeah! Get over it Dee, the Maple Leaf CCK is so yesterday. I have a Leather RKilt. You?

Betcha can't find your maple leaf kilt pin to go with it now.

Geographicaly speaking, the beautiful of Guelph* is situated only 15 minutes from Fergus and 45 minutes from Burlington (turn left at Rockwood). Technically they are Pete's minions (but prefer to be called gremlins). Although I have sub-contracted them in the past, I didn't his time. But then again you proved my point by saying:

The challenge now Dee, is to take a picture that truly shows off all the gorgeous colours.
*Guelph. Home of Sleeman's brewery, maker of Canada's best beers, lagers and ales. We shall visit it when you come up, we shall crash at Pete's. This is assuming McMurdo has not emptied his fridge. Also a university town full of university girls, each of whom have not had the pleasure of kilt checking me.
**Yes I said the big bad word. One can be so tough and brave sitting at a keyboard thousands of miles away. TROUSERS, TROUSERS, TROUSERS.
At night I turn off all the lights and pull on a pair of trousers.

That's when McClef and Starbkjrus get their passports stamped and Big Mikey decides that sunshine is better than rain and that Tim Hortons rules and Starbucks* sucks. Who else did I miss?
*No offence Starbkjrus!
