Thank you sir I will check it to that, Did you see the belt, I took your advise and picked that up at my local home improvment center for $20.00 and it works fine..

That belt is nicer than the one I got, sometimes living in Canada has its problems, now what are you going to do about a sporran? I might suggest Stillwater again as Jerry has some good prices on sporrans as well.

I already have one as you can see in this picture.

My wife's brother gave it to me as a Christmas present last year.

OK I remember that picture now but for the brown belt and boots, I would suggest a brown sporran, it looks weird if you wear black and brown accessories together.

You are right and I have already began my search, Stillwarter has a brown rob roy that I was looking at but until the funds are available I guess I will have to go with black for now. Thanks for you great advice and suggestions.
I have really been learning a lot from being over here..

    CJ,

Looking good in your new kilt.

    Two thoughts

The Rob Roy sporran at Stillwater Kilts is by Buzz Kidder. It is worth saving for as they are large and well made. I am really enjoying my "Loch Ness" model my lovely wife the F-H.C.A.G. gave me for my birthday.

You are wearing hiking/work boots with kilt hose. I humbly follow in the footsteps of our XMTS fashion guru Hamish. I believe he would note that with such boots you wear them with thick socks/kilt hose scrunched down (and of course no flashes). Hose pulled up high (with or wiothout flashes) really requires a dressier shoe.

    Just my two cents.

    Enjoy your new kilt!

    Cheers

    Jamie

If you want a quality sporran and you're going to save anyway, I think you would do well to save for a Freelander Sporran I got one a while ago and it is the sporran I wear everyday, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Thanks Jamie for the comments and advice, the hose with the boots was the wife's idea as shewanted to see how thw flashes looked with the hoses, I would normally wear my Black Hi-Tech's with a shorter sock scrunched down like you said. See as she paid for it I was doing as she requested..
