    Yahoo Messenger Avatar Kilt Outfit

Yahoo Messenger allows you to create avatars with a variety of looks, outfits and backgrounds. I was perusing the outfits recently and found that they've added a kilt outfit to the collection. My avatar is now appropriately dressed!

They've had the kilt outfit there for quite sometime. About a year I think...

Yeah, mine has been kilted for awhile...still upset about the lack of bearded faces, too.

How do you set the avatar? I've looked in kopete's preferences and don't see a way to set the avatar.
I should mention that I use kopete on Kubuntu Linux for Yahoo! messaging, not Microsoft Windows. Does that make a difference?

Use your favorite web browser to go to the Yahoo web page, and run a search for "avatar." Their own will be the first result. Create your avatar there, and it should automagically be set for messenger.

I've had the kilted avatar for yahoo for a while now. But as all I do with yahoo is a few groups and a spam dump for signing up for websites, I hadn't thought about posting about it here.

I took Yahoo Messenger programme off my computer as I was utterly fed up with scammers interrupting my work by buzzing my computer when they could see that I was on line. So now my Yahoo website home page shows me as permanently off line.
But I do have a Meez kilted avatar on my Yahoo website home page.
