Lemonade
Well, I had heard a 3" shrikage in the drop of a wool kilt if washed and I guess it is true. Now can we make some lemonade out of this lemon life gave you. How about everyone checking in and we try to locate someone with a son, or some guy of smaller stature who is interested in wearing a kilt. That may be a way to salvage it.

Wow Arlen that was unfortunate! I guess your Dad knows the proper "care and feeding" of your kilts now! I hope your able to use it as you described and get some use out of it.

Did the kilt come out of the dryer about as thick as a wool army blanket? I would think that it may make a great throw or wrap of some sort. I am sure that a little creativity is in order here.

I think I have some shrunken wook kilt hose to go with that kilt....from before I learned not to machine wash wool hose either.
