The next step is to take a kiltmaking workshop - from Elsie, from Barb, or from another now carrying on the tradition. Many people have been trained over the years, and I'm sure a few are now capable instructors. It's up to sponsoring organizations to advertise the dates & places of upcoming workshops. Any forum member who gets wind of such an instructional experience should post the particulars on this forum, so keep a lookout for it.
Ah, thank you, I'll keep my eyes open for such a workshop. I'd love to attend something like this.
