O.K., but how about a video, instead?

Backpacking in the Grand Tetons for three days. Camped below Hurricane Pass from the Idaho side, with day hiking to the pass and exploring the ridges. Wore my USMC MARPAT kilt during the days - and added polypro long johns for evenings and mornings in camp.

Preliminary discussions underway with another XMarker for hiking the John Muir Trail in California's Sierra Nevada sometime in the next few years. (Let's see what publicly stated goals can produce. )

And my two-week long ride is coming up in a few weeks.

Most of my nights are spent camping along the way in national, regional, state, and city parks. One kilt will travel with me for off-bike time. (Note: the pic above is posed. I've only cycled kilted once - one afternoon in Victoria, B.C.)

Another kilt will be used in air travel to my beginning point and sent ahead to my destination point, where I'm sure a "fresh" kilt would be appreciated by my host.

Yup, nothing like being kilted in the outdoors...
