Send a PM to Wizard of BC. If he has enough interest, we can look at setting something up, or at setting a time when the next run will be done. I am thinking I may finally need a kilt in that tartan.
Does anyone have the 13oz and the 16oz? Which did you prefer, and what were some of the big differences?

Great post! I wonder if we could consider XMarks the worlds first "Virtual Clan".

We have the plant in barley I think, but we do need a clan motto. Let's get some suggestions-a good latin motto! We can post the suggestions here and then maybe have a poll to vote on the list. You don't have to post in Latin, as I'm sure there are several talented translators on this forum.
I'll start: In Kilts, Fellowship

Bravo Panache. Bravo.
I most definitely agree. I'm glad to be a part of the rabble.
I don't mean to be the stick-in-the-mud. But, if we were seriously to adopt a plant badge: I do not think barley would be "fair." It's very apparent as to why this is picked, and there are more than just a couple of us who have nothing to do with "barley" especially in the sense it's intended. I think the plant would need to be something more universal. That is, if the idea were to indeed be pursued.

I was just looking at Fraser and Kirbright's page and saw they have 60 meters of the slightly imperfect XMarks tartan for $18CDN a meter. It's the 16 oz. wool fabric.
See it at http://www.wooltartan.com/tartans5.htm

PS I am proud to be a member of Clan X! Great idea Jamie.
