I found the steam vents in Washington DC and NYC fascinating - don't think we have anything like them here in the UK!

I don't know. It could have happened and the photog anticipated it. The guy's smile does look suspicious though.
I almost had a similar experience in London when a sudden gust hit. I was on Colborne near Queen's and all of a sudden I'm pushing my kilt down. It's a solid weight so you can imagine my surprise. And then my fear, because, if you know the area, I'm walking past the Catholic school. And they know kilts....
