    Tartan ID Needed

I'm looking for an identification of the pictured tartan. Is it a real tartan, and if so, which one?

Looks like a fashion tartan... but I could be wrong.

Looks to be a dress tartan. At any rate, I tried to search for it and came up empty-handed. Where's Matt Newsome? He's likely to know it off the top of his head.

I think it is a fashion tartan. I gave it several tries with the ferret and came up with nothing. Hopefully Matt Newsome or another of our resident experts can identify it. Hey, even if it is a fashion tartan it is a very nice one.

I agree, would make a nice kilt pleated to the blue stripe so that the white flashes when it swings.

I would almost GAR-ON-TEE it's a fashion tartan (specifically, a blue toned variation on Dress Stewart).
I don't have full access to the Scottish Tartan Authority (not a member, based on present budget), so I can't say for certain.
Yet, I'd bet money it's a fashion one.

However, I REALLY like it. It has nice echos of the Scottish flag and the Stewarts in the same pattern. Where did ya get it?

Now that you mention it, MacWage, it does look like a variation of Stewart Blue Dress (replaced the red and gold with shades of blue).

It's actually a kilt skirt given to Red_Raven_Studio's mother. The rest of the materials appear to be Johnstone. Red_Raven_Studio will probably end up with it at some point.

a wider pic showing more of the tartan wouldn't hurt.
