Personally my Stillwater Thrifty is the most comfy. (I have 17 different kilts, AK, UK, Tartans etc. but no wool) It's pretty much a 'wraparound'. Add belt & sporran and you're good to go socialising. Very cheap, but really comfortble as well as versatile. Quick to put on- and take off.

    Best kilt in the heat.

I live in Central Florida and have found that the most comfortable kilt I have is the home sewed kilt I received from MOWGLI. I compare this to a SWK Thrifty Kilt and another econo-kilt from Frugal Corner. The difference is the MOWGLI kilt is less restricting, less prone to personal exposure, and best of all, is the coolest to wear in 90+ temp / 50+ humidity. I wear the MOWGLI kilt all the time and have received several compliments on it.
