I Tivo'ed Taipan the other day since I had never seen it; a bit in from the beginning ther is a party scene at the new trading site on Hong Kong island and Bryan Brown (not wearing a kilt) tosses a caber rather unconvincingly while surrounded by kilted men folk. He then goes off to dance to some pipe music (unkilted).
