My new Tewksbury Ancient Grant Traditional

I recieved my new trad from Barb T alittle over a week ago and with the beginning of classes at my school I have been going non stop since. I have only managed to take a couple of photos of the kilt so far. I hope to have more to post soon. This photo was taken the evening I recieved it, and just before I removed the basting stitches. I first want to say, thank you to Barb for putting up with me and for being an absolute joy to work with. As many of you already know, she is very personable and just a very wonderful person, and her kilts are AMAZING!!! I am very proud not only to wear my Clan's tartan, but for it to be one of Barb's works of art, makes it even more special. If you are still on the fence about having a Tewksbury, get off the fence and contact her.

The Tartan is 16 oz Strome, Lochcharron.

A shot with the flashes she made for me and a length of extra tartan she ordered for me to make a fly plaid.

WARNING!! Now, this last one would scare all manner of kith and kin, including the livestock and other assorted beasties so fair warning, and please if you need a target for dart practice feel free... I just put it on after letting the pleats free and my daughter took a quick photo.

I hope to have some more pictures soon that will show the details and me smiling at least.

Again, Barb thank you from a very, very happy customer!

Sorry, didn't mean to "slam" you. I just wanted everyone to see your beautiful pics

no worries, all in good fun.
I recieved a new sporran strap and belt from Cavscout. I can't wait to take it on its maiden voyage. Might just have to wear it to work and pipe band practice tomorrow. And YES I will smile next time!

Man, I LOVE it! Such a beautiful tartan. I'm really beginning to take to red tartans in the ancient shades.
