The Art of Kiltmaking
I love being a librarian!
I put out a request for a copy of The Art of Kiltmaking. I had to send all the way to Salt Lake City to get it, but it came in today. I'll buy the second edition when it comes out. Until then, though, I have something to read.

Enjoy! It is really an amazing book. A necessity on every kiltie's bookshelf.

So far, the book is fascinating, and I"m learning a lot about how a kilt is put together.

It's even a very interesting read to those of us who have no intention of ever making a kilt. You have a greater appreciation of what goes into making one.

I, like several other X-Markers, plan on getting a copy of Barb's book when it comes to press.
Barb - I know you look at this board frequently - When is it due? How do you want us to order it? -By that I mean, which way is the easiest for you?

Will have to buy the existing version now and avoid the Osborne effect.

That's where a company brags about a product not yet available, and people stop buying the current product to wait for the new product. It killed Osborne Computers, for which it's named. However, that doesn't really apply here, since the first edition of The Art of Kiltmaking is no longer in print.
