    A quick question about what to wear with the kilt.
    Would it be considered sacrlige to wear a leather jacket with a kilt? It's not one with metal stubs on it. It looks a bit the jacket Duncan from "Monarch of the Glen" wears.
    It's for casual wear of course.

    You are so wise. If I'd been as smart as you I'd own fewer kilts but they'd all be hand sewn traditionals.

    And, leather jackets were MEANT to be worn with kilts. Check Ham's gallery.

    Very good choice my friend. Although I don't own a Tailor myslef, my uncle owns one in MacRae Red Mod., and it is just fabulous.

    Peple wear almost any jacket that isn't so long that it comes below the fell (the top of the pleats) and interfers with the swing of the pleats.
