My very good Irish friend Michael Egan started calling me Porrick (there were already plenty of Pats in our class) when we met in high school in Wisconsin back in 1981.

So, Porrick it is

Great idea Big Mickie. My avatar just happened. When my son was little (he's now 30) he called himself 'zooming man'—he was always moving at warp speed. When I had to give a name it just came to me. I typed it in expecting it to be taken already; but I got it.

I know that Serenity has no weapons but she does pretty good with her engines. That and the fact that I figured Serenity needed to be mentioned.
