I've been a part of the punk scene in one form or another since '98. At the time I registered for the forum, I was heavily into anarcho-punk and D-beat. The term "crusty" was origionally intended to be an insult, but many in the scene embraced it, myself included.

Like a few others, I wish I had thought a little more before choosing my forum now, as I am no longer a crusty. I'm still very anti-fascist, anti-racist, but now I'm also very much pro-union, and now I'm all about my celtic heritage, so it just seems to fit...

I used to hang out on a few boards back in the '80s playing door games and stuff. I can't even remember any of the names I used to use but one day I decided to mess with a friend of mine on Tradewars so I created an account he didn't know of and commenced to harassing him. Being quite unoriginal, all I could think of was my last name backwards and I've been using it for everything ever since. I really do have to think about changing it though because some people see the "emo" in the front and assume I'm a psycho kid who cuts himself for attention.

Great thread!
'Zardoz' of course comes from the 1974 cult film by John Boorman. I have been a card carrying member of that cult since the 70's. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zardoz
I started using Zardoz as a handle for playing NTN, a national bar trivia game. I just thought a name that is sort of it's own trivia question would be cool, for a while my Dad and I were ranked in the top 10 NTN players nationwide. I am a fount of trivial information!
And oh yeah, while the Serenity has no doubt the cutest looking mechanic in the universe, a Klingon garbage scowl could put it down!

Riverkilt came from both my growing up on the Willamette River up in Portland, Oregon back in the 50s and now living on the Colorado River. And I love being kilted on, and in, the river...and on the cliffs above the river...
And W2F, I ain't confused...looked it up a while back and "think" I get it...maybe...not really sure...but probably...I think...okay...right....

I had only just begun a search in my own ancestry when I came upon XMTS.com. In order to post and converse with yous here I needed a user name. At the moment I decided for whatever reason to Not use my own name "Russell" Instead I went for the first, most closely related family name available to me. Morrison was my most recent familial connection to the great lands of the U.K. and her adjoined countries Scotland, Wales, Ireland. Since that time I've discovered closer clan lineage in Forbes, Lamont and Brown.
Now, as for the fight b'tween a Starship an' anothr ship carrying far superior armaments, I can say this,
"Gentlemen, y'd be on yer best mindset to go at it aganst m' own Captain James Tiberius Kirk. Regardless of your ship's class an' tonnage."
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?
