Belted Plaid as Casual Attire?

I wear a belted plaid, not every day. I hae the Feile - Mhor which is the large wrap, aboot 6 yards in length. There is however the Feile - Beag which is the short wrap, aboot 4 yards and where the idea for the modern short kilt came fae.
Far cooler for hot days, naw that i hae seen many o them!

I wear a belted plaid at reenactments and find it a great garment to wear in the woods and around camp but I think that it would be cumbersome around town.

BTW beloitpiper you outfit looks sharp

You'll probably get loads of weird looks, because most folks won't know what you are wearing.

I suggest reserving the belted plaid for festivals, highland games, reenactments, and the like.
