Now I would love to see Max Von Sydow in a kilt.
Truly a man of power!

Well, Padre...you almost got your wish...
...your post got me thinking and searching and there was one ray of hope: a flick called either "Vercingetorix" or "Druids" depending on the country that it was released in...cause, let's face it, there may be a good number of Xmarksers who know who Vercingetorix was but the average schmoe in the street in the USA probably couldn't tell Vercingetorix from Brennus if it came right down to it.
In the aforementioned flick, the Magnificent Max plays, as it seems he always did in his later years, a wise old man. There was some mention of the Druids in this pot-boiler running around KILTED and I figgered that perhaps ol' Max might appear unbifurcated as he plays the role of wise old advisor to the titular Vercingetorix....but no dice:

As you can see as you scan down the page, although Maxie is unbifurcated, he is wearing a Druidic robe and not a kilt.
Bummer! But it does show that the film industry is doing impeccable research and has the Druids wearing kilts as they fight the Roman Legions...it must be true!

I've steadfastly resisted getting cable television...we waste too much time watching the telly now...but if I knew that CBC was part of the basic cable package I might reconsider. A Bob And Doug Special...must see TV.

No it isn't ... why would you lie like that?
Is there a chance we can get Geddy Lee in here to say something?
