Greetings From New Brighton, Minnesota!
I've always been proud of my Celtic/Scottish heritage, and I've wanted to express it in the most recognizable way: By wearing a Kilt! So after years pining, I took the plunge this last week. While I couldn't afford the lay out for a tradition wool Farqaharson, I went for a Stillwater Thrifty. (I didn't want my wife to get sticker shock!) I figure I'll add a little here and add a little here as time goes on.
Anyway, I looking forward to hitting some of the local Kilt nights, festivals, and might even wear it in the Pulpit some time soon.
I'm a little on the short side, so the kilt hangs a little low. Any suggestions on altering a SWK Thrifty?

If you do a search for hemming a Stillwater I am sure you will find something as there have been posts on that in the past, you might also just take a look through the DIY section.
