I don't know how she does it, but Barb's pleats always hang in that perfect cylinder from fell to selvedge. It's the standard against which I evaluate all pleat shots.

Aye Turpin, there's nothing like a skilled kiltmaker. Its so cool when the pleats are done so well the back of the kilt looks like the apron - like we put in on backwards. This from Kathy Lare.

A salute to all the kiltmakers - professional and journeymen - who take the time to learn the craft. Me I'd rather study calculus than try and figure it out...and bleed...

Question How can I get one?

I do like this tartan and have wondered how to get a kilt in it. Is there anyone making them on the east coast?

if you go to fraser kirkbright
I think they might still have some of the "damaged run" this is where I got my tartan for my xmarks tartan you can see my review here

You could also get in touch with Peter from Canadian Casual Kilts I am not sure but he may still have some of the xmarks tartan.

It's probably also worth contacting Steve Ashton at Freedom kilts. IIRC he had ordered some extra kilts lengths over and above what end-users ordered for the last run. Some of these may still be available.

    Best regards
