    Gordon sgian

Here's one in progress, that's going to a member & clansman. I'll let him post his own thread when he gets it (very soon now!).

A sidebar question. First off, it's a lovely sgian. However, I've noticed that the handle seems a bit larger than I'm used to seeing. Is this usual? A custom touch? Just more "handy" (so to speak)?

It's probably a little "squarer" than usual. The new owner liked that shape, & I had to do it a little wider than I would originally have done to accomodate the clan badge. However, it does sit comfortably in the hand.

The stone is an acrylic in a green/black/white marble, & the hilt is red ironbark. You're not seeing things, it's set up for a left-hander. I think I'll let Turpin describe it in more detail we he gets his hands on it!
