Just in case anybody is in doubt Scotand v France was the European Soccer Championship qualifying section whilst Scotland v Romania is the Rugby World Cup which is being played just now. It can be a bit confusing.

What was the excuse with Tonga, Greg?
I know Canada better shape up at the RWC and put in a better show than their first match against Wales (good game for them). Just to clarify Jimmy' post, the Rugby World Cup is being playe dright now, but Scotland's next match is Monday.
Does Scotland still need to win one more to guarantee their spot in Euro 2008, or does that seal it? What a win though to beat France in France. I had to wait until midnight to find the highlight of McFadden's goal.

Although Scotland top the group, they still need 7 points to guarantee qualification beating Ukraine at Glasgow, beating Georgia away in October and the final game against Italy in Glasgow on November17th.
Of course if some other results go Scotland's way then we wont have to rely on getting the full 7 points

Well done Scotland in both the football and the Rugby.
Mcfadden's goal really was a cracker.

Well, its not hard to see where MY loyalties lie....
Too bad they couldn't get past Latvia on Saturday... THAT one surprised me! Still fighting with Norway and Spain for top spot in their group!
