I have received the Irish National Tartan kilt...I ordered it on 9-12 and got in the mail yesterday, 9-14. It is pretty much what I expected but a bit more.

It is well made and fits me pretty well (taking into account the cost, it is fitting very well.) The pleats don't pucker at the hip, I think that's because the fell (from the top of the waist to the hips) is stitched down a bit longer than my personal wool kilt, which is being sent off to Brunettes in Canada to be re-stitched so the fell is a bit longer.) The band kilt fits the best of all which is not surprising since it is the heaviest and very well made as opposed to my personal kilt which was handmade but the person who did it wasn't the best there was, evidently.

So to say that the Stillwater Kilt fits better than my hand made kilt in may ways is saying a lot. It is lighter and I'll have to pay attention to things when I am at the football games, but I do like it. On top of that, I can get my two grandsons matching tartans in the kids size and we can match when we go to Highland Games and such (where the band won't be attending and I am not required to wear the band's kilt).

Hunter, the 7 year old, informed me a couple years ago, that he wants to be a drummer on my "team" His 4 year old brother, Connor, just wants to do whatever he does. He wants a kilt as well, but he is very interested in the Bagpipe Practice chanter.
