Here it is, the Hawaiian tartan:

The colors are representative of Hawai'i, the blue for the ocean and sky, the green for the vegatation, the brown for the 'aina (land), and the red and yellow are for both the islands fiery origins (fire and lava) and also serve to honor the Hawaiian monarchy, which used red and yellow as their royal colors.
This is a shot taken of my wool kilt. I feel this is important to mention, as the colors are slightly different from the cotton and polyvinyl colors. Specifically, the blue in the non-wool fabrics is much brighter, which causes the tartan to appear more blue than the green-looking wool incarnation. My guess is that it's something to do with what dyes work in wool. Anyone here have any mill or dye knowledge?
Also, sorry for the small section. I had a couple of larger shots, but they didn't copy off the card successfully. You should be able to get the overall idea...
