    Chamois Butt'r

As a runner, hiker and kiltwearer, I am always finding that I get chafed in places I didn't know I owned. Thanks to this forum, and our hiking brother Andrew, I found the blessings of Body Glide. Recently on the recommendation of a biking friend I had an opportunity to try Chamois Butt'r. This stuff is great. It is a lotion and therefore you have better control over the areas covered. It also has very good staying power. I have worn it on two and three hour runs without a hitch. The only place I have seen it on the shelf is REI. Cheers

REi is a big time outdoor sports retailer. Hiking, camping, and such. I believe they also have a nice website.

Hey John - Try this web-site.

    http://www.rei.com/

It's a chain of stores for outdoor enthusiasts. They also have a pretty good catalog business.

If memory serves REI stands for Recreational Equipment Inc.

Upscale outdoor sports and camping equipment store - started as a co-op in the pacific northwest. Recreational Equipment ... I'm drawing a blank on the "I"... Inc. perhaps?

An excellent company. My fiance and I are members with them. In fact we're waiting on a tent to arrive. Anyways, unfortunately for you, they do not have any brick and mortars in Florida. However, The web site is most adequate and there return policy is superb.

Don't one of our rabble work at an REI up around Seattle and he works kilted? What more can you say about a corporation?

Another product that I have had success with is "Pampers" liquid baby powder. It's available at most grocery and drug stores. Cheap too.

REI's return policy used to be so liberal that it was thought the name stood for "Return Everything Inc." or variations on that theme.

It's pretty much part outdoor equipment store (the original function) and, as the joke goes up here, a store for people who need outdoor clothing to walk across the street.
